During the Spring 2022 semester, I created this sculpture utilizing the skills I had learned within my digital fabrication class. I made an Illustrator file using images of real longhorn cattle to outline the various structural shapes and thought about how I could make all the various pieces fit together like a three-dimensional puzzle. I then cut out all the shapes using cardboard as my medium, pieced the shapes together and hot-glued them, and painted everything with both acrylic and spray paint.

I entered this sculpture into the 2023 Annual Juried CMU Student Art Exhibition where it was chosen to be one of the 64 artworks by 46 artists included in the show by juror Jessica Brandl of Western Michigan University.
